*1 Free optional -Canoeing: From Pilcopata Haremos 1 hora y media de piragüismo (clases I y II) en el Koñeq and/or Alto Madre de Dios rivers. We will enjoy the scenery and swim in the refreshing waters.

EXCELLENT Based on 67 reviews Alonso2025-01-09Verified Great team and amazing experience We had the 5d/4n trip, it was a great experience and the fourth day was worth it due as we sailed into the river for 5 hours. The crew was amazing. Totally recommended Mathieu D2024-09-14Verified Incredible adventure The entire tour with Manu adventures was incredibly well organised. Our guide Jack knew every animal we pointed out, also with his professional gear we could see the animals very clearly. He also had an incredible eye to spot them aswell. Besides this I'm sure he arranged a lot of small items during our trip to make our experience seamingless. Our cook, Charmuta, was incredible aswell. We always had great food and always more than we could finish. The activities were well spaced out and Jack also took into account how tired we were to determine how far he went. For sure can recommend Manu as an organiser, Jack as a guide, and Charmuta as a cook! mariajesus h2024-08-07Verified Unforgettable trip in the Manu Everything proved fantastic: the quick attention of the agency, the Cleber Guide who found the most hidden animals and transmitted security, the Rodrigo cook who prepared us delicious and abundant meals, the boatmen... The experience of feeling for a few days in the jungle exceeded our expectations Voyage619670817822024-06-22Verified Do visit the Manu National Park - but *not* with this agency First off, I highly recommend visiting the Manu National Park and the restricted zone deep within it. We did a seven-day private tour that allows for ample time to explore the amazing flora and fauna the park has to offer. Our guide Cleber and cook Aide (both freelance hired by the agency) were absolutely outstanding - try to get both as a team when planning your trip.Which reasons motivate the one-star rating? In brief, this agency is terrible, from hours to office staff to the lodges run by them (luckily, we mostly got to stay in lodges run by other licensed agencies). We did some shopping around prior to booking our trip, but can unfortunately not recommend that you book with Manu Adventures - do look for another operator licensed for the reserved zone (there are five more, to my knowledge).First off, the office staff is not available whatsoever on weekends - this includes their supposed emergency number. Communication prior to our trip was lackluster at best, with no inquiry as to or regard for our personal preferences for the trip. We were merely offered a standard package, which struck us as odd given we booked a private tour. Not once were we contacted during or after the seven-day tour by Manu Adventures to check in on us or to inquire as to our experience (a standardized form was handed out at the end, I highly doubt its contents will ever be read).Once more: We had a fabulous time within the park and especially the reserved zone, despite challenging weather conditions, thanks to the great team of freelancers implementing the trip and being in charge of virtually everything, given the disinterest and complete disinvolvement of Manu Adventures' office staff. The office staff was, it turns out, available and quite active on the weekend during which our seven-day journey concluded in attempting to downgrade our private tour to a group trip though. Whereas we paid a decent surcharge to make this trip private, we were forced to share our boat, supposedly at our disposal exclusively, for several rides on the penultimate and last days of our trip. Manu Adventures' office staff then tried to convert our entire last day into a "group experience" by adding five people to our two-person group without any contacting us, let alone seeking consent (neither was any recompense of any kind offered). We became aware of this attempt to undercut the service quality we paid for by chance and intervened both directly and via our (freelance) guide. We never received a reply by Manu Adventures as to their attempt to convert 1/7th of a private tour into a group tour with no recompense. Neither were we compensated for the shared boat rides nor a one-hour wait owing to said sharing.Even worse than the office staff were the lodges run by the agency. Whereas lodges in the park are all basic, an experience we quite enjoyed for the most part, the two Manu Adventures lodges were simply terrible. The "Erika Lodge" stood out in this regard, with our room not having been cleaned for weeks at least (evidenced by a plethora of dead insects all over the room, a layer of dirt on the ground, remnants of feces in the sanitary area and incredibly reeking, likely moldy bedsheets). Upon arrival at Erika Lodge, it was evident the caretaker there was not up to his task and had simply forgotten about our two-person group - given the Lodge is swarming with visitors (to the further detriment of the tour experience) and the disinterest of the Manu Adventures office in running tour operations, one may argue that that hardly came as a surprise though. During our trip, we stayed at two lodges run by other licensed agencies, neither of which featured any such issues. Jet441346413102024-03-25Verified The best agency to visit the Manu Natural Reserve. Wonderful experience with this Agency. The treatment, the walking routes, the explanations about flora and fauna and the food were truly wonderful.Very, very, very recommendable Maria P2023-12-26Verified The jungle always impresses, but some experiences can be better than unbeatable. Awesome. Wonderful staff; Ronald, the guide, is very knowledgeable and patient. The food is delicious, the rest of the workers attentive and friendly. In 4 days you get to know many different aspects of the jungle; cloud forest, lowland jungle, rafting, river by boat, lake in palo balsa......one of those experiences that change your life. We learned a lot from our guide Ronald, who combined wisdom and passion for nature. The food that Mari prepared for us was very good, with interesting local dishes. Scott M2022-12-03Verified Words Can't Describe How Fun This Was! Our guide, Gleber, visited us the evening prior to our departure and we went over some paperwork, payment and planning. The next morning we were picked up and started our adventure to the Amazon! We traveled by van, boat and foot. We even had an unplanned hike when a rock slide took out the only road into the jungle. That didn't stop us though, as we climbed over and walked to our first lodge. Dinner that night was a sign of things to come, as Rolando prepared an amazing meal. He would continue to do so the entire trip. We got to go on hikes, did some rafting, swimming, bird/ animal watching. Gleber was so knowledgeable and kind. He was always looking out for our best interests and willing to help out with the smallest things. I was a little apprehensive about visiting the Amazon, but going with Manu Adventures was a slam dunk! Again, another massive thank you to Gleber, Rolando and the rest of the lodge staff for making it a wonderful experience.
